I chose to study in UP because I wanted a formal education and of course a masteral degree from the country’s premier state university (is unparalleled). I did not want to get just second hand information from just anyone. Having many instructors in the clinic gave us the opportunity to learn different styles and techniques in handling cases. The program also encourages us to always be on our feet and to always think, that there is always a better way to treat a case… The variety of the cases, both original and transferred, that I have handled during my stay in the program gave me the confidence and the competence to accept and treat every case in my practice.

UP is one of the best universities in the Philippines. Since UP is a government institution, it is a plus point for me because being a graduate from government institution is given more priority in my country… We were exposed to many patients (both original and transferred cases), which helped us build confidence in treating my cases. We had the opportunity to gain not only theoretical but also sufficient clinical knowledge as we had the chance to discuss our cases with a sufficient number of faculty members. After I graduated from UP, I was able to work confidently on my own patients and was able to easily pass the Nepalese Orthodontic Board exam in 2012.

The UP Graduate Program is highly accredited in Iran…. Focusing on practical learning and treatment planning and patient management… Made patient management and treatment planning easy for me…. When I took the orthodontic board exam in my country my UP education was very helpful in case analysis and treatment planning part because it was very similar to the procedure we used to do for our patients in UP… I am very grateful for having a chance of being part of the program because I was able to pass the Iranian orthodontic board exam.

I chose the UP POST GRADUATE PROGRAM in Orthodontics because I wanted to study full time and concentrate on a patient-immersed study course. Being only 5 in the class, we had full attention of and guidance from our teachers, and learning from each other’s daily cases multiplied our learnings. Seeing and going through so many cases in the 2-year course (then) not only helped me gain confidence, but also enriched my teaching Orthodontics in the Undergrad program of Emilio Aguinaldo College. Moreso, this program has qualified me to be recognized as an Orthodontic Specialist in Saudi Arabia for the past 13 years.

In UP there is more patient exposure and (we have) experienced teachers. After studying in UP, I passed the Nepalese orthodontic board exam with a rank of A…. Good guidance and enough patients….. I learned various techniques from multiple professors….You know the  book through and through.

The UP Graduate Program has a good education system to achieve better knowledge of orthodontics… What I learned from UP is reflected in the excellent treatment of my patients. Great environment to learn, lovely classmates and professors…. The UP Graduate Program is a well known accredited program in my country — Iran. My education at UP was instrumental in my passing the Iranian orthodontic board exam both in the theoretical and practical aspects. During the course we kept reading continuously many different references and the clinical aspect helped me in being confident enough to handle complicated cases by having a great knowledge of case analysis and treatment planning…. Overall I’m very happy with my profession. The three years I spent in the program was without a doubt, the corner stone of what today emerges as a dignifying and successful life in my country.

I chose UP as it is one of the finest and best universities in the Philippines and Asia…I liked the clinical works and the professors, who are so helpful and always ready to share their knowledge.. Research oriented and best part is they allow us to use recent technologies…I am practicing what I learned from UP. I am thankful to all my teachers for sharing their knowledge…The exam pattern and curriculum meets the requirements of the Nepalese board exam. It helped me to pass board exam in my country.
